The smartest simulator budgets treat cost as a system, not a single number.
Most first-time buyers under-budget supporting components and overspend one headline item. A better split is:
- Launch monitor: biggest share
- Ball containment + impact surface: second biggest
- Mat: non-negotiable for long-term practice comfort
- Display + computer: scaled to your realism goals
If your budget is tight, prioritize reliability and repeatable practice over ultra-premium visuals. You can always upgrade display and computer later; replacing unsafe or uncomfortable core components is much more expensive.
